Dulce et decorum est

Operation StatCounter is now in effect and has tallied 4 visits so far. Refreshing the page to artificially inflate numbers will be a constant temptation for me and so the counter will either serve as a beacon of integrity or a cheap gimmick to impress other readers i.e. the ones that don't exist. After checking the homepage twice during this post the ticker has increased to 6 thereby validating my honesty but also raising questions about my psychological well-being and unusual dedication to this blog, and in particular the whereabouts of my original subject matter.
